The Start-Up Coordination Unit of the OPBG Drug Development Center has the role of supporting the finalization of all the phases that lead to the signing of the clinical trials contract in the most efficient and effective way.

In this context, the role of the CTC Start-Up Specialist is fundamental, because it allows the immediate start of the work of setting the budget (and therefore of the contract) and supports the process of enhancing the study.

The CTC Start-Up Specialist also quantifies the commitment of staff resources to be allocated to the study, the methods of execution of accesses, procedures, consultancy and diagnostic tests involving other Operating Units, providing for a proportional economic breakdown, based the protocol requests and the organizational needs of the Hospital.
